| Why? Because the Bible teaches that we should watch and pray every day and be ready.
Matthew 24:42-43 “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.” I always thought of Matthew 24:42 when the archangel Michael contended for the body of Moses. The devil was reluctant to give him up. I read that the actual event will be forceful because it has to be quick. Here is my testimony about the ‘prophecy’ by Christine at the YouTube Channel ‘Rapture at Twilight’ that was supposed to happen on July 17, 2019 at 6 am. She called people like us Overcomers, which never occurred to me and do agree with thinking back about all I had to overcome and still do. 1 John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” It is not us who overcome but the Holy Spirit in us who is the Overcomer. 1 Corinthians 14:4 “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.” 1 Corinthians 14:8 “For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” She certainly was edifiing. So what went wrong? For me nothing went wrong. I’m glad I’m still here. I hope you experienced that as well. God doesn’t want to lose anyone who believes in being the Bride of Christ. You really don’t believe that He will let us down?? He is as anxious as we are to come together with His bride. What is more exciting than that? To tell the truth, I watched all messages by Christine’s until yesterday August 26, 2019 (another Rapture Date) . The following message was the foundation of the “prophecy” Matthew 12:38-41 “Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas (Jonah):” Jesus Christ was referring to “Himself”: “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.” (The name Jonas is the prophet Jonah (for Bible changes see http://www.cephasministry.com/final-call.html) Jonah converted Nineveh who rise to judge and condemn the unrepentant. Jesus, who is greater than Jonah converted many by His miracles and His power who followed Him to this day to become the Bride of Christ and the judges to condemn those who will not repent. Jesus repeated in Matthew 16:4 “A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.” Problem is what did this event have to do with the Rapture, in other words ‘escaping’. Failure # 1 Next we were told to expect a regime change in the US. She claimed that former President Obama would replace President Trump. She proved that a partial third term was already voted on in Congress. Obama didn’t happen. Failure # 2 She was very concerned with others plagiarizing her ministry. I thought that was strange, most ministries want their material to be distributed by others. It even got to a point where she took her youtubes off limits completely. Do you deprive believers of your message? Failure # 3 Many believers were mislead in 2017 by a number of combinations that came together like this one referring to the Rapture. It was supposed to happen on September 23, 2017 which turned out to be a false prophecy. It was based on the tetrads of blood moons like Christine’s. In her testimony were 7 blood moons, which actually occurred. In 2017 model the blood moons fell on Israel’s Feast days, which seemed certain to be significant and wasn’t to occur again in 600 years. . Christine built her model on the same blood moons only showed them to be 6 month apart and used terms that ordinary Christians were unfamiliar with like ‘night and day watches’, timeline, partial solar eclipses and total eclipses lining them up as one day each. She taught that the Book of John did not include the Passover that the other three Apostles wrote about. Let’s see what the Bible teaches: John 13:1-2 “Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;” Doesn’t the Scripture sound like Jesus was describing Passover in the Book of John? Jesus said in present tense in John 13:18 “I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. John 13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.” John 13:26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.” Obviously the Passover was completed as usual. Christine claimed that God held this Passover back to rapture His church since Jesus was crucified and resurrected, that the church, the Body of Christ, needed to go through that as well. She said that we would have to go through horrible abuse like Jesus. We know that didn’t happen. Failure # 4 The lady seemed to know much about that particular area in the Gospel, I was impressed and she could hold her listeners through the whole chat and life-stream sessions. She offered Communion several times and I was shocked with the second one. She offered a grape as wine, which got my attention. It seemed rather inappropriate unless she was trying to show the parallel incomplete Passover without explaining what it meant. Holy Communion is a very sacred event and not to be trifled with. Failure # 5 She used beautiful Christian music from the Hillsong Ministry and others. Hillsong is considered to be in apostasy. Apparently she is not aware of problematic organizations. Failure # 6 Strangely enough she tied the Rapture time to the rooster that crowed in Mathew 26:34 “Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.” (Cock is another Bible change) Why use Peter’s denial as a signal of the Rapture at 3am immediately changing to 6am? She wanted as many as possible to get a stuffed toy rooster and they did, even from other countries. Amazon ran out of them. Failure # 7 She insisted that the Rapture would happen at the time she gave us and when it didn’t occur she came on again and stated that she had missed the timing due to miscalculation and extended the time to August 1, 2019. She claimed originally that God had chosen her personally to reveal this mystery and at one point even celebrated all the crowns she would receive for doing God’s work. Failure # 8 Let’s see what else is missing in Christine’s story according to the Bible: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” Timing is one way I identify, if the Holy Spirit is behind an event. He is never off. He is all-knowing and knows ahead of time what is going to happen and tries to prepare us. Well, that is what I was counting on and so did Christine. Preachers supportive of Christine’s ‘prophecy’ called people who attacked with Scriptures such as Matthew 24:36, evil spirits: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” The Apostle Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.” The Apostle Peter taught: 2 Peter 1:19-21 “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” Righteously, an abundance of spiritual attacks of scriptures of one kind or another, by means of films on youtubes, preachers and comments upset Christine to no end. She spent much time accusing listeners of faithless behavior not worthy to be in the Rapture. At first she repented of her behavior but lately that’s not the case. Matthew 7:1 “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” Who is the accuser? Revelation 12:10 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” She said a number of times that she would quit the web during this whole episode (5 years) and did not go through with her threats. That is what happened on July 17, 2019. In fact she has it now going as far as November 2019 and will keep entertaining members of her group by making them feel sorry for her and promising that there will be a date of the Rapture even though a number of dates did not result in anything up to today August 27, 2019. . Have you thought about that one? Some believe that 2019 is it and if that is so, if the church is indeed raptured, does it matter what day it was raptured since the church will be meeting Jesus Christ in the clouds?? Failure # 9 Failure is what Satan is about since he wants no one to get back to heaven and Jesus warned us over and over not to trust without checking if it lines up with what is written in the Bible. 1 John 2:27 “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” Notice this verse is in present tense: We are already translated into His Kingdom!! In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit could not enter people like He does today, but Enoch had faith (a gift of the Holy Spirit) and pleased God. Hebrews 11:5 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Don’t be disappointed. God is forever testing to see where we are spiritually. I participated, even though I knew there were problems. I wanted to check myself to see what needed to be completed or changed. I went on quite a trip with all that had to be done if I were to leave and how I felt about going off not knowing what is next. I kept my emotions in check to not get excited anticipating the long awaited event. The higher our emotions take us the longer the fall trying to destroy us. I decided to hang out with Christine some more to see what she would come up with next. She told us that the ‘Day of the Lord’ begins immediately after the Rapture and lasts one year. Apparently she believed that hell would follow the Rapture as well. 2 Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. After the thousand year Millennium, is the final Great White Throne Judgment and the end: Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Failure #10 Christine began telling us about her personal life which was a nice gesture since few get that personal. She shared what happened when she was confronted with speaking in tongues. At first she wanted nothing to do with it but changed her mind. She was shocked that she suddenly had a boldness that she was unaccustomed to. She related that she was on a bus and young people behind were unruly and she wanted them to behave and eventually ordered them off the bus. That boldness seemed to her necessary to become a teacher. There were two ladies in her group who picked up on Christine’s demeanor when I visited them on their channels. The older one sounded just like Christine, which was shocking to me. The younger one also changed from her sweet presentations to Christine’s style. She realized after July 17, 2019 that she had been lied to, cried and apologized to her audience that she had been misled. Satan only addresses Christians since the rest of the world are already his. He majors on demoralizing believers and making them look like fools. The possibility of the Rapture is an exciting event and shared with others. When they find out it wasn’t so they disconnect from us. Satan wants division in families, with friends and co-workers. Addressing the gift of speaking in tongues, she encouraged her group that this gift of the Holy Spirit must be exercised to get a close relationship with God, that He would relate mysteries to them personally. She shared that only ‘born again believers’ should get involved to make sure that they don’t open themselves to the evil spirits. Her life – stream started acting up so she could not complete what she planned. The next day she was ready. She said that she would have five minutes speaking in tongues. I expected Christine herself to be doing it. She admitted that this program from a North Korean Church was the only video she could find with holy music and a woman speaking in tongues for five minutes without interpretation as required by the Bible in public. Here is why I don’t believe in that today: Acts 19:6 “And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.” What authentic preacher has the power today to lay hands on people and transfer the gifts of the Holy Spirit? They talk about it but what truly happens? Only God knows whether we are born again. We believe we are but do we really know? 1 Corinthians 13:8 “Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.” 1 Corinthians 14:27-28 “If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.” In this case it was a woman, not a man in a church setting Failure # 11 It did prove how few are truly interested today in the Rapture due to the many failures. Satan never stops trying to destroy our testimony. He knows our weaknesses and knows us so well that he can still put one over on us. The Bible teaches that over and over. Christine is lucky her teaching was over after five years. In my case it lasted 20 years before God led me to the truth about Mormonism. My house was built on sand. I had to start over from the beginning. I noticed the Bible she used was not the authorized King James Version. One more surprise was the fact that Christine believes the rider on the first horse of the four horses in the beginning of the Tribulation is Jesus Christ with His overcomers, His Body, the Church. Failure # 12 Jesus comes back at the end of the seven year Tribulation to make war. Revelation 19:9-11 “And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” 2 Peter 3:17-18 “Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
